1. Hi Richard. Nice amp head you have there! Been wanting one of these for a while. What are you looking for as a trade? I've got a Tecamp Puma 350 amp head just now I'm looking to move on, hence why I'm interested in U/G to the Aggie 500. The Tecamp is Probably worth around £300-350 if you're interested at all? Plus cash obviously to the value you're after for the Aggie. 2. Hi there... I've got a 5string spector legend custom bass I'm looking to trade. Currently using 2 Aggie DB112s in chocolate thunder and this would match off the set!!
3. Would you consider a trade on the head for a Spector Legend Custom 5 string in trans blue with gold hardware? I'm in Glasgow and could deliver/collect
4. I would seriously love to take this off your hands. I need to sell my Spector Legend 5 fretted first though. Hope it is still around when i have the cash. Good luck with the sale ;-)
5. Hi stuart, I'm interested in this,is it still available? I need a spare 2U head. Cheers.
6. Quick update. Firstly thanks everyone for chiming in,great to have a bass-oriented community to be able to fire questions into like this. I messaged Tecamp and got a reply very qck from Thomas there, asking for pics of the inside of the amp so he could help, fed his advice to the repair shop in Glasgow (Flynn Amps, highly recommended, great guys and KNOW what they are doing) and hey presto, turned out to be a 3.15amp fuse that had blown in the output stage. Can't ascertain why it blew in the first place, the repair shop tested my speak on cables-nope, just need to watch and hope it doesn't happen again. Now I'm on the lookout for a cheap spare amp head just in case :-). Thanks guys!
7.
Thanks Platypus.
Should have mentioned that I bought this off a fellow basschat user last year and so don't know what kind of warranty it was under. Basschat have changed the forum lately and can't seem to find prev messages sent to the fellow basschatter to contact him :-(
8. Guys I'm really hoping someone can point me to a uk dealer/repairer here. My Tecamp Puma 350 head has been inspected by my local repair shop and a faulty output module has been diagnosed. The symptoms include low power output via the cabs/low volume and distortion. It is a non-serviceable (circuit board) part and comes as a module apparently, enclosed, and only available via Tecamp. I don't fancy sending the head off to Germany ( other forums have suggested poor communication from the company) so require a uk company who has parts and is authorised to carry out this repair. Anyone out there can help? Thanks guys Graeme - Scotland
9. I'm really proud to be able to say I now appear on two albums, released this year. My mate John Gilmour Smith's album has been released through Francis Dunnery's (It Bites, Santana, Lauren Hill, Robert Plant) label Aquarian Nation, check out the info here http://www.aquariannation.com/john_gilmour...lmour_smith.htm. He recently toured as support to Francis on his Fearless Tour and we hope next year to get out and play the songs with the whole band, very exciting. I've also recently recorded an album with The Gospel Truth Choir (http://www.thegospeltruthchoir.com). The album is all cover versions of songs written by Scottish Songwriters, including Big Country, Danny Wilson, KT Tunstall and many more. The Choir were honoured to be asked to support Children In Need and appeared singing live at the SECC (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGndZIB74Fc, that's me in the back row left btw!!). We've recently re-recorded one of the album tracks (Paolo Nutini's Last Request) with the cast of BBCs River City as a charity single for Children In Need, available via iTunes and were also asked to contribute to the latest Cash For Kids charity single singing with Colin and Justin. Exciting times. Thanks for reading and letting me share, I'll keep you posted on stuff as it comes up. Cheers! Graeme
10. Near mint Hartke head, all original knobs,10 band graphic sq makes it effortless to dial in a great tone. Active and passive inputs,tube/solid state preamps to dial in clean/dirty tone mix. On board compressor. Has 2 jack outputs, 8 ohm, 200W. I used to play this through a Hartke 4x10 Transporter cab and never had the volume up past 4 it was so loud!!! Willing to ship at sellers expense. Open to cash offers or trades for rack tuner with lights.
11. Here's my Warwick Streamer Jazzman 5 string. Bolt on neck, ash body, wenge fretboard, my main bass. These were taken from a recording sesh last year and it sound amazing on the record!!

13.
Thanks but looking for one dirt cheap as a back up around the £100. Probably won't get it on here; maybe local ads or ebay. Cheers
How about a Hartke 200W Head, the Hartke 2000 model? Dual Jack 8 ohm outs (no speakon) but fully serviced and mint!
14.
I'd never use Silverstone. They seem to have very slow and poor customer service sometimes. othertimes it's not too bad, but if you have any problems then you'll have a really hard time trying to get Shaun at Silverstone to respond to your emails or answer the phone. So my advice would be to stay well away and use someone like hotcovers.co.uk who seem to have a better reputation and respond a lot faster to communications.
i've used Roqsolid twice now for my aggie db112's and the covers are great! they have the GS112 covers built to order here http://goo.gl/p0SQ. They changed their design of these covers after I'd bought one for my first cab. The second one was better designed and when I wrote to them to ask for a replacement cover for my first cab so they matched, they sent me one gratis!! Graeme
15.
Initial post updated.
Hi there. I always wanted one of these ever since I saw one in Sound Control years ago. I've a *MINT* Hartke 2000 amp head which I'd be happy to trade you? Its 200W, has two jack 8 ohm outputs and is 2U. Interested at all? Graeme
16.
This is the thing!
Wicked!! Looks like it could fit my TecAmp head :-) Cheers for that! G

18. Ok, so what would you do if you turned up at his house, hearing from your mates that he's a sh*t hot - if not a little excentric - bassist?? Stay to further your craft or Run like hell ?? Personally, I'd be wearing the latest Nike's
19.
I sure hope so
LMAO !!!!!!!!!!!!
20. Have tried the Aguilar AG500SC and a Genz Benz 6.0 Shuttle and I have to say the tone from the Aggie cuts it EVERY time! It's got everything, you won't regret the move :-) Although *minor spanner thrown in* I've just bought a TecAmp head (through 2 Aggie cabs) having read tons about them online and wondering how it would stack up to the tone from the Aggie stuff and I have to say I'm blown away!!!
21. Hi there I'm looking to join an established band, preferably doing wedding/corporate work. I don't want to join a new band, sorry guys, been there, done that recently. HAS to be an established band with gigs in the diary!! I'm willing to travel, have my own car and gear. I can do backing vocals as well and ain't a t***er, friendly, GSOH and all that pi*h I live in South Lanarkshire, about 25miles south of Glasgow. Would prefer a band in Scotland. You can see/hear me play via the links in my sig. Hopefully you're out there!!! Graeme
