3.
I have been told that I have to go record two guide tracks this evening at 8:30 and that I have 45 minutes. I don't have my bass with me (Why would I, I am at work). Its a 40 mile round trip in rush hour to go get it, so the engineer is lending me a Stagg (*shudder*). I know it is just a guide track, but ffs.
Last time i used a stagg one of the tuning keys fell off so good luck there..

 15.
The people who notice most are your band members IMHO . Wouldn't think the crowd would, except for the odd beard twitcher.) Personally , I do. both , which is always handy. It means that if I were to join another band, I'd be able to adapt to the preferences to my band mates quickly.
beard twitcher.. Ha ha love it
 16. I played with a very hard working band from '92 til 2002 constant gigs/tours world wide, i quit and thought " right that's it im having 5 yrs off," 6 months later i'm out gigging again, yep i missed it.

 18.
I'd start by pointing out to your guitarists that the master volume knob can also be turned in an anti-clockwise direction
+10 on this
 19. Ask for the luthiers phone number
 20.
Er, do nothing. Sold as seen I think. What can you be expected to do? Where does it end? You pay through the nose for a new neck or a set-up? He saw the videos and the photos and made an informed decision to buy it. I reckon, his missus saw it, shouted at him and told him to return it and get his money back. Truckstop
Is he married to my missus then?
 21.
If you're using bass playback tracks, I can hire you a life-size photo of myself playing bass. The right arm is pivoted; you'll need to regulate the elastic if you need synchronising to the beat (although few folks notice...). It's on castors, so you can discretely push me (it...) to the front of stage for solo spots with your foot. You'll want a string to pull me (it...) back, though. Any help..?
woo hoo love it
 22. We recorded 2 albums, one in '95, and '97.. The 1st one is great but 2nd one i was on tour with another band when the final mix was done, it sounds like there was no bass player, was it done in spite?? I'll never know
 23. Why don't ya buy loadsa rics and chop em up for table lamps, you could make a good living at it.. Very nice btw
 24.
This is me explaining we don't do AC/DC covers, although with hindsight I'm sure we could have bluffed it..
how come you have totty at your gig Spike?
 25.
Apologies for crap iphone pics, makes it look more yellow than white in artificial light. Not very well set up out of the box though, I have had to take the action down a bit, but that wasnt a problem as its a very nice well madebass. The strings will need replacing though, I dont know what strings Fender use on their basses, but these stock ones are terrible.
yup that's all you'll need
