4.
Thanks guys, I knew it was somewhat dubious. I found this other bass on ebay too but I'm such a GAS newbie I think I'll stick to buying through this site. 6.
@rogerstodge - do you mean don't drill holes, as in screw the tuners in more delicately; or do you mean don't put the vintage tuners in at all? If we assume I'm not interested in selling it (and it has been given a fairly amateurish "road worn" look by a previous owner with a bit of sandpaper so is hardly mint...) then is there much to lose here? Would the main parts of the tuners (the bits that Lneed to go through the headstock) be the right size to fit?
if the holes that go through headstock are too small you'll have a hell of a job drilling them out bigger, the drill bit will shake like crazy and make a right mess, mounting holes won't be so bad.
 7. Nice playing mate, and some nice bass face moments
 8. Dont drill holes!!

 11.
Basschat is the only forum I trust. 2006 and I'm still on here. I love this place.
Yep and me (2009 tho)
 12. You'd be better off putting this up for sale in the "Big Lefty Market Thread" mate
 13.
I have been giving my 2008 Jazz a run out again of late and been liking it's honk. TI flats with the bridge on full, neck on half and tone half-way, not lacking in any lows through a 212. That's why I like to have a few bass's to swap and change.
You like having a FEW basses to swap around cos you've got gas like everybody else on here,(including me)
 14. I'd always point someone in the direction of a fender, can't go far wrong with them, you'd prob pick a MIM up for not far off £220..
