[/quote]if the holes that go through headstock are too small you'll have a hell of a job drilling them out bigger, the drill bit will shake like crazy and make a right mess, mounting holes won't be so bad.

I use a fender tuner/foot pedal, very good, maybe a bit too accurate but fits in my gig bag no probs

I'd always point someone in the direction of a fender, can't go far wrong with them, you'd prob pick a MIM up for not far off £220..
