4. £280 on Amazon at the moment https://www.amazon.co.uk/Behringer-Bugera-1960-Infinium-Amplifier/dp/B007F9KMNY
  5.
I've just splashed out on an aer amp3.yes,it's a big outlay but my first impressions are this thing is unbelievable!! First gig with it tomorrow night,it's real quality sound and has some proper heft behind the notes.i can't see myself having to buy any other amp or cab soon .if your budget allows....
My one can happily cover pub gigs without breaking a sweat. It's nuts!
  6. HPF, effects loop with a footswitch, 9 volt The Headphone amp was okay but I think having one in a dedicated format and making the pedal more of DI control centre would be better. Footswitch for the colour to kick it up a notch? For me less was more.

    Cheap bass flyrig?
As soon as I get it, I'll let you know. My main reasons for getting it, was (like you) it being small enough to take to lesser profile gigs whilst still having an effects selection, but for bigger gigs taking both and running my board through the effects loop on it. In addition to the above, I'm also keen to try it with my upright. Leave the amp and cab at home and Di straight out of this board into the pa. Nice easy set up for me.
This sounds great in the demos. Interested in your real world thoughts
  8. Micro and Nano POG user here. The Fission didn't track as well IMO
  9.
Nearly mentioned that one but I don't think they have a speaker out? They have a line out I think. Besides that, I've never known anyone with an Amp One that needed an extension!
No, no speaker out but it doesn't need one. It's nucking futs the amount of sound it can put out.
  10. AER Amp One. Throws out a huge amount of volume belying its size; enough for a pub gig

    Mild fuzz advice.

Having gone from a dual rig to do what you want I'm now using a wee lush mixie loopy and Fredrick green Russian to get good results

  14. My main bass head is a guitar amp. Not had any problems yet with my Bugera 1960 Also used my H&K tubemeister 18 as my amp in church and again, no problems. I've also done the dual amp (one bass one guitar) pseudo rythym guitarist thing with a nano POG.
  15.
It has to depend upon the garage, the biggest enemies are moisture and rodents. Cold itself will cause no harm but temperature changes will cause condensation which is not good for anything that may corrode or for electronic circuit boards or many loudspeaker cones. You'd probably be better off running a de-humidifier than heating as such. I picked one up for £100 at Aldi of all places and you can set the humidity at which it cuts in and it all runs automatically, a lot cheaper than heating. You'd need to arrange a pipe to drain the extracted water or expect to empty the tank every few days. I've had mice inside my speaker cabs. Little buggers got out at a gig! I'd heard scratching as I unloaded them. Plug up any open reflex ports is the solution.
I run a dehumidifier in the garage too. Store my cans and cables and other stuff their. Amps stay in the house
  16.
Price war has started - its £839 at Dawson's
That's what we like!
  17.
That's the full fat version. They are now showing £849 for the LT
Whoops
