SOLD

I like this Is there, per chance, any sort of case with it? And whereabouts in London are you located? I'm in Wiltshire so I hope it's West! Cheers, Stuee
2. Hi Rich, my memory isn't perfect and I think they're Celestion Gamma 10's (not certain of that) but I just bought direct replacements for what was originally fitted. As it happens Celestion had uprated them due to a more efficient design so they are now rated at 300W instead of 200W. I couldn't be sure of the exact model without taking the front grill off and one of the speakers out, which is a massive PITA, but rest assured they are the ones that Marshall chose to fit.
3. Sorry marcbass, it looks like a fantastic bass, especially for that money. Maybe if you put the price in the OP, and in the topic title, it might make people look?
4. Please put SOLD at the beginning of your topic title so we don't all waste our time & bandwidth. Thank you
5. Ah yes, that would make it tricky. It would also make it tricky for anyone to come & try it out Ok, when was it made?
6. Hey Shambo, do you have a pic of the serial number please? Or could you at least post the number here? Many thanks, Stuee.
7. GAS. I want this, even though I've never played fretless (except on one album session). Beautiful bass, and the same vintage as ME!
8. This amp is now SOLD. Pleasure doing business with you, Shoey
9. Shoey just bought my Hiwatt head. Drove up to mine and tried it out over a cuppa. Lovely bloke, great taste in amplification! Very smooth and easy transaction, job's a good'n. Cheers!
10. Ah yes you're absolutely right. I just copied and pasted the info from an online source (can't remember where but it looked like good info). Anyway, they are indeed 'Partridge designed', as quoted here: http://www.hiwatt.co.uk/prod_details.aspx?pid=52&cid=12
11. Sorry I can't help with that Matte. I have someone coming round this evening for a look, but I'll let you know if nothing happens and maybe we could sort out an audition sometime. Cheers, Stuee
12. I've never used a VBA400 but it looks like it probably has more extensive tone control via the 3-band EQ with switchable mid contours. Other than that I guess it would just be a matter of subjective taste?
13. FINAL price drop to £1,000 firm. This head must go!
14. Monday BUMP! This is a fantastic cabinet, peeps, I shizzle thee not ;-)
15. Hi again Keith. No worries, you can't delete a topic - only moderators can do that - which is why we edit existing ones. If you hit Edit at the bottom of the first post in a topic, and then choose 'Use Full Editor', you can edit the topic title and all that good stuff. Might be an idea to do this with your defunct topics and append the titles with WITHDRAWN or whatever. Then people know to ignore them and they'll just sink to the bottom of the forum. Anyway, I'm scratching my head as we speak, trying to figure out a way of affording the Milan. PM on its way soon... ;-) Cheers, Stuee.
16. I'm Stuee, pleased to meet you Keith, what is going on here? You have posted this bass in four separate and simultaneous topics, three of them this month and twice on the same day - with pics, without pics, and with 3 different prices. I, for one, am confused! I am also intrigued though. I used to use a natural one of these almost exclusively, and was very sad to have to let it go. I haven't found another bass with the same growl and mix presence since. But I have just bought a new TV and the car needs an MOT next month How much do you actually want for it?
17. Just bought a tele from this gentleman, who made everything very smooth and easy. An absolute pleasure to deal with, trusting and trustworthy, highly recommended. Stuee very happy, thanks!
