Kev's Feedback

I just bought Kev’s Darkglass M900 head. Couldn’t have been easier. Cheers mate!
2. Oops, sorry! Got the asking price wrong. It's actually £450 including shipping to UK, not £500
3. Hi all, Moving house so need to offload some things. Here we have a Markbass TTE500 head with matching Markbass padded gig bag. I bought it on BC from MindGoneBlank just over a year ago, as new, and have literally only used it once since then, as it was a backup for my other Markbass head which, unsurprisingly, has never let me down! The TTE500 is virtually unmarked, as is the gigbag, as it has been stored safely in a cupboard in my studio since I bought it. Couple of pics below. Details and more pics on the link above (hope you don't mind Richard). I'm asking for £450 including fully insured shipping to the UK. 4. Stuart bought my beloved Eggle 5 string and was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Proper gent. Thanks mate, all the best, Stuee
5.
I have a very nice Fender Jazz 1987 MiJ to trade. It has custom made Hotrod pickups and set up by Bill Puplett. Ps . I'm working with your boss today , Mr Angilly.
Hey, well I'm really trying to raise a bit of money for a motorcycling related purchase, but I don't own a jazz currently. Might be worth PMing me a few pics, ya never know 😉 P.S. Hi to Neil, but he ain't my boss! haha
6.
Hi any sound clips or vids? Thanks
Not really mate, sorry. Here's a clip of a shambles of a Vanessa Mae gig at Westonbirt Arboretum a few years ago. The guitarist got stuck in Poland so everything went a bit doolally, but you can just about hear the Eggle on my 'solo'. There's quite a lot on YouTube of this bass but it's usually in large venues on cellphone cameras so no use really. Anyway, here 'tis, for what it's worth... 7. Bought a bass case from Alex. Very easy and smooth transaction, amiable chap, good communication... just the way it should be. Thanks mate
8. Just sold a bass to Yannick. Absolute pleasure, what a nice guy. Great communication, no mucking about, and I think he likes his new bass Thanks mate. All the best, Stuee
9. Price drop bump, now only £600
10. Bank holiday bump! Plenty of interest but still here
11. Thanks for the tip. I've updated the listing to include these measurements
Great looking bass of undoubted quality. Some info that might help sale: String spacing at bridge, scale length and nut width.
12. Here we have a lovely Patrick Eggle 5 string bass with EMG active pickups, ebony fingerboard with 24 frets, Sperzel locking tuners, and a beautiful blue/green burst lacquer finish over a lovely quilted maple top, and matching headstock. She really is a stunning bass, especially when the light catches that wood through the lacquer. It was made in Coventry, England in April 1995 (see pic of neck stamp). I bought it second hand from a guy who lived near the old Patrick Eggle HQ in Coventry, who told me the bass had been custom made for one of the managers there. Seems plausible as it definitely isn't a production model, and it has a quirk or two (well, one: the unfinished portion at the bottom of the neck). It's a fantastic bass and has seen plenty of action with me all over the world. I've used it mainly for the Vanessa Mae gig (which should give you an idea of how versatile and playable it is), but also some other 5 string applications, Russ Ballard, Rachel Fuller. The controls consist of two volumes and a tone knob. Very simple, but also still pretty versatile and this bass will produce a good gamut of different tones. It records great and rocks live too. It's in pretty great condition, barring the odd small surface scratch here and there, and a couple of dings in the lacquer. There's one small one on the headstock (see pic) and a larger one at the bottom on the back which can't be seen from the front at all so doesn't show. I'm in Bournemouth but would be willing to drive a reasonable distance for fuel money if you want to meet. Otherwise I am happy to ship at buyer's expense (and risk) via their choice of courier. The bass comes in a battered but serviceable SKB hard case (free of charge). 34" scale 47mm at the nut 70mm at the saddles, which gives an average string spacing of 17.5mm Weight is a very comfortable 3.9kg / 8lbs 12oz Oh, and I'm selling because I now have three 5 string basses and that's two too many! Here she is EDIT 28/10/2016: PRICE DROPPED TO £500 (firm)
13. PRICE DROPPED TO £600 (firm) 30/05/2016 Here we have a most excellent 24 fret 5 string thru-neck bass, made in the USA in 2000. The body is bubinga over walnut, neck is Pau Ferro over walnut and is an amazing, graphite reinforced neck... very comfortable and playable all the way up, thanks to the fact that all 24 frets are 'north' of where the neck joins the body. Condition is pretty good. Just a few surface scratches here and there (the pics make them look worse than they are -- sunny day!), but nothing that interferes with the overall look or feel. The gold plated hardware is slightly worn and faded, as always happens with gold coloured stuff, but still fully serviceable. The bass plays extremely well and sounds fantastic with a broad range of tones, thanks to the comprehensive active electronics and EQ. That said, it does need a set of strings, and while I could put a set on now, I think it makes more sense to let the buyer put on their own choice of strings post sale. The base will come in a battered but serviceable Gator hard case (free of charge). I'm based in Bournemouth but would be prepared to drive a reasonable distance for fuel money to meet up. This is a fantastic American made bass, which I am only selling because I now have three 5 strings and only need one (my recently acquired Mike Lull M5V).
