1.
I always get annoyed when i see people with MB4210's I had THREE blow up on me in the space of a fortnight, and Marshall couldn't give a s**t. Luckily, the shop were very helpful. The 4210/115 rig is what i was originally aiming for. Nice rig though
When you say blew up, what happened? I have heard they over heat. I've taken mine apart but all looks good to me. Sounds good though
2. Hi Sorry to hear of your predicament! I do gigs sat down (and will be sat down tomorrow) as I too have a 'Royal Wedding' gig. It's in doors but makes no difference. Just enjoy the gig and smile. If the audience see you enjoying yourself, they will enjoy it too! Have a great one and let us know how you got on
3. Gone to the bay........
4. Artificial is not for me. But I prefer shiny ones anyway
5. Welcome aboard. I only picked a guitar 5 years ago and a bass around a year ago. I gig and play in jam sessions most weeks! (I'm 46 this so its never too late!) Blademan

8.
I wouldn't spend £2K on any bass
+1 but that's because I am a tight wad

10. Welcome aboard. Sweden is a nice place but a little too cold for me I was there in January and thought it a very pleasant country. I have three kids and they are great for jamming along with
11. Yep, a bit wierd
12. I have the MB4210 and 115 extension cab. I love the variety of tones. And it's LOUD! I have not had any overheating problems. I was advised to have a look at the internals and this was interesting. It all looked ok to me and I left it as built. It has been well gigged and hopefully will last me for a few years
13. Sue Ryder basses are cool This will be the best one on basschat!
14. Hmmmm new bass and silent treatment or no bass and still the risk of bank holiday striff........ Get the bass

17. I did a guitar a while back. I used 1200 wet and dry. It was on an oiled neck (not painted). It worked ok and gave the desired effect for me. (I masked the frets and used the wire wool on them before re oiling)
18. Sadly I will never be asked to play there....... But I will turn up anyway! Blademan
19. Welcome aboard I am sure someone will be able to answer your question! Blademan
