Hi I have an old 2x15 cab enclosure which was made by 'Highway'. Its constructed of an MDF material. I have stripped all the tolex off with a view to recovering and fitting drivers, however I've decided i haven't got the time and I'd rather spend the money on a new smaller cab instead. It has all the handles, corner protectors and front speaker grill. Due to its size I'd ask that it is collected from Sheffield South Yorks. Thanks Aidan

Not eBay but I just put a wanted ad on gumtree and was contacted by someone offering me what I wanted and sent pictures.. Turns out the pictures are from another live ad in Scotland when they claimed to live in poole. They requested I sent money to them via bank transfer as they didn't have paypal. I've just picked up a used G&L L2500 sunburst from guitar guitar for £350.. Delivery tomorrow , can't wait to try it out! I have a usa jazz and usa precision but I've been looking at an affordable active 5'er so I thought for the money I'll give it a go! I've read good reviews on these, so all being well it should be an excellent gigging bass

Hi, I'm in the market for a decent active 5er and I've seen some schecter 'diamond series' basses. Are these classed as a mim to Mia type of thing as with fender? or are they the same quality as the 'normal' schecter basses? I'm just a bit confused! Can anyone give any personal experiences with them? I was looking to get a stingray 5 but one of these would save me a load of cash if they are quality basses. I play a mixture of alt rock / hard rock and metal Thanks

After doing my grade 8 I now want to get myself grounded in jazz and jazz improv techniques. I'll be honest I haven't any albums in that field to listen to other than jaco pastorious. Can anyone reccommend some jazz tracks to listen to ? I'm wanting to put together a playlist that will inspire me and learn from it. Thanks

I've just stumbled on this thread and read it through.. What a truly amazing opportunity - or even two opportunities you've had! Well done!! It's got me inspired to push my dep work harder to try and develop some opportunities. Nothing of this league though, thats just stuff of dreams! ;-)
