Thanks I couldn't find the ebay forum.
Things to look out for:
The headstock is the wrong shape
Decal is in the wrong position
Machineheads are wrong with no visible signs of where the old, larger Fender ones were
Position markers look like pearl
Bridge has seven screws (Fenders have five)
I noticed this the other day just thought I would give you all the heads up. I have contacted the seller to inform him its not a 1969 or even a Fender for that matter.
Cheers

controls are vol, pickup pan, bass cut/boost, treble cut/boost (concentric dual pot). Pull up vol pot for passive and only pickup pan and vol function. Owned mine since '97 still love it has a definte MM bite.
I am the original owner of this bass when it had MEC's and passive circuit. The neck is amazing, thin and such a low action can be achieved from the excellent tidy fretwork. It had a very even volume across all strings up and down the neck. I used it for mainly soul/funk and pop music live and some studio work. I only sold it because I was between jobs and needed the money. Lovely versatile proper old school Warwick quality.
