1.
Cancelled, the guy claimed his bass "Broke" after I had booked the train tickets. This is the SECOND time this has happened with trading the Pedulla where I have outlay-ed a lot of money only for the bass that I was trading for to be mysteriously broken just before trading. If you offer a trade STICK TO IT. I am currently out £170+.
That's a bummer sorry to hear it - have a bump on me for a cool bass!
  2. Gone!
  3. £285 cash or trades anyone?

  8. The machine heads look like a highway one too
  9. Rippers are great but if you want to get a Precision bass growl on steroids get a Grabber - preferably one of the older ones as the reissues are totally different in construction.
  10. £75 gets you a great active bass, £90 posted in UK!

Heh heh. Good for Doug. So he's back to wearing his flat cap and smoking Woodbines is he?
Keep it. Risk being a little posh.
I daren't - I'm fearful that my grubby northen hands will tarnish the sparkle of the gold plating and my lack of public schooling will prevent me from fully understanding the intricacies of the sophisticated active circuitry.
Hot rod P bass? How about a USA made Thru neck BC RIch ST bass (basically a PJ bass with thru neck, pointy headstock and no scratchplate)
Sorry not a fan of the pointy look :-(

To clarify basses of interest to me are ; Rickenbackers, Fenders Precisions with maple fingerboards especially and Hotrod P basses, JV Squiers, Marcus Miller Jazz, Gibson Grabbers, Epiphone Rivolis. Musicman Sabres, G&L ASAT. I also like slightly off the wall English stuff like John Birch or Shergold ( anybody out there got a Shergold 6 string Bass or a Fender Bass 6 !?!). I'm not interested in 5 string basses.

Had a lot of interest and am still waiting to hear back regarding a couple of possibilities. Information about this era Spector can be found here - http://www.spectorbass.com/about/spector_years_2.html
When you say EMG, do you mean the EMG designed/Spector branded ones, or pucker EMGs?
These are certainly proper EMGs - the logos are still there but faded.
  24. Cheap bump!
