3.
That drives me NUTS.
Amen to THAT!! I've been using flats pretty much exlusively for years now and I just wish I'd discovered them earlier.

6. You got my old band mate Steve Flowers on Keys, or has he moved on to pastures new?
7. Sorry to see that "Ready "Freddie Washington is conspicuous by his absence. I hope he was "too busy" to do the session. How cool would THAT be??!! I love the new album - grooves like a serpent from start to finish.
8.
They're on Birmingham 8th Nov. Splendid.
Yeah, I spotted that. Hare and Hounds at Kings Heath though!! WTF??!! A real "toilet " of a gig I've done more times than I care to remember over the years. Having said that, I suspect they'll put on a great gig wherever they play.
9. Just found this too. Nearly a half hour audio visual recording: http://youtu.be/cwAc0oDLGu4 I cannot wait for the Ground Up album DVD to drop through my letter box in November!!
10.
Amazing.
Aren't they though? The trombonist looks about 8!! On a practical note, I bet arranging their rehearsals is harder than arranging yours!
11. If this doesn't put a smile on your face and/or a spring in your step, I'd be VERY worried!! LOL The DVD from which this is taken (Ground Up) is included FREE with the CD audio version and is due for UK release on 5th November 2012. Need less to say, I have it on pre-order. To put the icing on the cake, the band is run by the bassist.
12.
[sup]Drummers seem to get a lot of sh*t and I'm not certain why (not been around any tbh). I had a go a few times and getting each limb to do something different is really really really hard if not impossible. Want 4 things all hit at once fine, Want that hit once, that twice and that thrice for evrey four bashes of that and it's quite a different story. (ok that would probably sound dreadful but you get the point). [/sup] [sup]So, why the derision?[/sup]
Because the VAST majority of them richly deserve it - in my experience anyway.
13. Luvverly stuff!! Absolutely oozes quality.
14. I think you know the question I'm going to ask don't you? Where are you based? It sometimes matters you know.
15. Been using Ashdown rigs of one sort or another since the late nineties and have never had an issue with any of them. The sole reason I went from my Mag rig to the Superfly gear was to try to save my back due to my rapidly advancing years.
16.
Blimey! First time anyone has ever explained what goes on in my head, patterns are all I can remember. Now i don't feel guilty! Cheers!
Me too - HUGE relief innit!!???
17. You, Sir, are a genius!! I've been gigging for over 40 years and I have to say that viewing/listening to that lesson has really inspired me. Naturally, I subscribed immediately!!
18.
Also look out for Jamie Abersold mp3s. You can pan either way and remove bass or keys keeping the drum track.
Amen to that!! Plus, if you have access to iPhone, iPad iPodTouch or an iMac, the iRealB App is astonishing value at £9.99 IMHO. Available from Apple App Store and worth every penny.
19. I have a spare key which fits both of my Hiscox cases and would be more than happy to mail it to you if you PM me your address etc.
20.
Yeah exactly the same for me. I find the phone far more effective
Me too!!
21. A satisfied H1 user here!! Even better value for money and, to my ears, the quality of the recordings are indistinguishable from those done with the H2 of H4. A tad flimsy, I must admit, but I do tend to look after my gear well anyway, so it's something of a non-issue as far as I'm concerned. PS: Thanks again to Andy!!
22.
Lidl or maybe Aldi sometimes did a handy tool set with the necessaries, that someone would buy all of and sell as guitar kits for loads more on ebay.
Absolutely!! Got mine for £3.99 from Lidl. What a bargain!! As always, you can never tell when they'll turn up for sale. Just a matter of keeping your eyes open I'm afraid.
23. No crticisms, constructive or otherwise I'm afraid. Loved it from start to finish.
