  1. It defo says Fender on the headstock. Has to be a Customshop bass. Maybe someone will do an article on it as the bass gets more coverage.
  2. It looks great, GLWTS
  3. Some more recent pics
  4. Anyone know what this is? I wondered if it was a D-tuner.
  5. Blimey! 😮
  6. Cool, stick up a review here 😎
  7. I'm liking the look of this Mustang-style shortscale. Anyone got one/ played one? https://www.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_mv_4msb_lh_black.htm
  8. As an occasional player on DB (some studio work) and therefore a newbie, I've been a bit gobsmacked when sourcing a new set of strings. I notice Corelli are almost half the price of Spirocore for example. Any players on here that can shed some knowledge from their time using these strings? 🤔
  9. I play lefty instruments strung righty or righty instruments upside down. Seems normal to me 🤪
  10. Warwick Thumb BO4 (2000) Has neck damage. Worth a punt? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/176371984717?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=2VQ2Q47xSV2&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=htqb-a2hQ7e&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  11. 1979 Kramer DMZ4001. Never seen one before. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/145737467446?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=k5dOeruMRz2&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=htqb-a2hQ7e&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  12. I owned a 1968 EBO with slotted headstock. I used it exclusively for years as it really suited my playing and style. The tone knob basically did nothing but I loved the deep heavy bass. Neck was a joy to play once I had it set up properly. Ended up settling like so many others, on a P bass.
  13. Surprised no one has made the London bus joke yet 😁
  14. Ooh...er! 🤩
  15. Spotted a new Reel for the Sting 3.0 Tour on Instagram. The new bass still hard to make out with the fast editing. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C4ibECLs890/?igsh=MW4xbWFxOTk4bXdvOA==
  16. I had the VR micro stack and regret moving it on. This looks just as sweet though. 😎
  17. I had two custom made pickguards made for my lefty Squier 32" Scale mij p bass. Fantastic workmanship and great to deal with. They even made a wood template of my guard so I don't have to resend mine if want any further orders. Would absolutely recommend.
  18. Sweet. Can you still get the teacup controls that were on these basses originally? 😎
  19. For someone with a dedicated rehearsal room or performance space this ticks all the boxes.
  20. These are lovely to play. I tried a few in the range when they first came out but being a lefty i prefer symmetrical basses if I'm flipping them upside down. Did borrow one with flats for recording a couple times. 😎
  21. Nice Aria Pro ii SB700 mij https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/395292288584?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=ojwLfi25T-W&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media
  22. If I were rich I would snap this up even just to have on display as a wonderful piece of bass history.
