  1. Thomann seem to be the cheapest - £21
  2. Available through a number of outlets, has anybody tried these? I suspect they may be similar to those available from Status (medium length only thus not suitable for 4 inline). https://www.thomann.de/gb/warwick_bass_string_set_040_100.htm?sid=ff534e3375d697ff4049e2b94141667b Also available in 45 gauge: https://shop.warwick.de/en/strings/electric-bass-strings/19381/warwick-black-nylon-tape-wound-bass-string-sets
  3. I hadn't noticed before but the "Extra Slinky" EB strings have possible the worst matched gauge for a set of strings. Look at the difference in the gauge from one string to the next - 20, 10, 25 - anybody else notice this?
  4. Nice bass but you'd have to remove all the stick on bits of metal.
  5. I think that the messages are supposed to be PMs - at least one ATM suggests that the message is intended for a named member.

  19. Badly wired....I had a bass with a similar problem. Simple fix if you know what you're doing (or know somebody who does)
  20. Maybe some of the @Ashdown Engineering team have some info on this. ( @AndyTravis beat me to it)
  21. I'm not reading this thread and I'm not going to look at the site... I hate you all!!!
  22. Took this to my local luthier, Terry Chapman, earlier today for a once over and spruce up. Terry's in isolation following an operation for Prostate Cancer earlier this year. He's on his feet and in a fair mood all things considered. I'm sure that those who know Terry will be sending positive thoughts.

  25. I did a deal with the once, sole importer of these basses. He was a very adept player and rated these very highly. GLWTS
