1. Hi fellow Trace Elliot enthusiasts, I recently bought a BLX combo (had one some time ago and missed the sound of it). The fan is really loud, have any of you had that problem and fixed it? z
BLX 130 I just recently traded away a lovely BLX 130, 'suppose it doesn't do any harm posting it here I already regret letting it go but I needed more wattage and couldn't keep both amps. z
2. Congrats! Looks fantastic. And now you must share the strategy of getting Mrs Ez onside hehe z
 3. I bought a Tokai Hardpuncher ltd. edition a few years ago off ebay on a whim, it is a fine bass now strung with flats. I sometimes miss the lack of contour and wish I had bought a normal Tokai p-bass. I don't think I can ever sell it because I would regret it too much (sold a Rickenbacker years ago and have regretted it ever since), and it is hard to find another one like it. Great basses you have Glorihanah and nick

 5.
From rehearsal last night
I find this cabinet very desireable Is that a 12" speaker? z

 7.
Hi All After 2 years of not playing or in band the itch has returned. Having sold nearly all my gear on here and ebay I have beed quietly re-building my gear and here it is. The Ashdown rig I bought from fellow bass chatter and top bloke Ozzy138 (Dave). The Jazz arrived this morning from Bass Direct. Worth a few words of praise for Mark S at Bass Direct - he was really helpful and nice guy to do business with. The bass is fabulous...very happy. Got a jam session coming up on Tuesday with the making of a new band - can't wait to turn this baby up! Happy Days Now I've decided to go "old school" with a passive bass, no more batteries. This does mean I have my old bass to sell... New post coming soon in the for sale section.
Wow, very nice rig and bass! How would you describe the sound of the Ashdown compared to Ampeg or Trace Elliot? z
 8. Here are my four basses, left to right: 80's Cimar p-bass Blade B3 jazz from '92 Tokai Hard Puncher VSB 60 from '80 something Squier Bronco Badtz Maru cheers, z
 9. Great rig and the bass isn't too shabby either A 2x10 like that is on my wish list when I can make that happen. g
 10. Hi thanks, the F1 is great, compact and powerful. I'm just gig occasionally so it's good to have a rig that doesn't take up much space at home but makes me heard when I gig
 11. Sweet looking Jazz gsgbass Here's my white bass, a Levinson Blade B3 from '92, I'm pretty happy about it z
 12. Hi guys, I have an opportunity to buy a Cimar p-bass, will probably check it out today - see photos. The little I know is that Cimar was an underbrand of Ibanez, but were early guitars made in Japan and later in Korea? I understand that the Japan ones are good quality but what about Korean ones? The bass looks very good on the photos I have and price is reasonable so if it works sonically and plays well and neck is ok I most likely will buy it. z
 13. Thanks man for your reply, and yes the cab is a more than a little out of my price range But the Proline cab might be an option for me. z
The Reidmar 250 is RRP £399, so a bit cheaper than the closest Mark Bass comparison. The cab...well...a lot more expensive than a Mark Bass 210! Ahem...RRP £920!!! I switched from a Mark Bass LMIII to the Reidmar and much prefer it. Suprisingly, just as loud as the LMIII if not louder!
14. Very cool small rig! How is EBS pricewise compared to Markbass? z
My new mini portable rig... EBS Reidmar 250 EBS Neoline 210
15.
My recently acquired Hot Rodded Precision 034 by markmojo, on Flickr
Sweet! I'm sooo keen on those HotRod P's - I now have great envy of you z
 16. Wow! That's a great looking bass and pretty cool this is your only bass ever (Twigmans' Squire that is, apparently I don't know how to quote...hah) z
 17. Great looking bass ! I have the same bass but not the PJ version. That is my red one on the page Lemmywinks linked to. I like mine a lot but I also know of its "flaws". For one the tuning keys are not very good, frets on the upper part have sharp ends sticking out and lack of contour on the body makes my upper right arm hurt a little after playing for a while. The good stuff is that it is light compared to my other bass (a Blade jazz bass), the neck has a fat profile which I have come to like (I didn't at first) and the bass sounds good. So yes as you may have seen on Tokaiforum yours is a Ltd. ed. VSB 80 HardPuncher, I bought mine four years ago if I remember correctly from Japan through e-bay, price was $300. Did you sell yours yet? z
 18. I agree with Clarky, such a lovely '62 RI - I don't think I've seen it in this colour before. z
 19. It really looks sweet, I agree with you there z
 20. Veery pretty I have one like it but white, I can vouch for the great sound those make and also that they're a bit heavy The neck is also sublime and the ebony fingerboard of good quality. z
 21. Sweet! What are the pickups? How's the neck on it? z
Picked up this old warhorse for next to nothing recently. It's pretty battered but that doesn't bother me at all. Was looking for a bit of info on it as I know next to nothing. Anyone help me out? Is it worth anything? It dates '76 judging by the serial number. Was hoping to fit a new bridge to it - can anyone recommend me one that'll fit? Thanks dudes.
