In terms of power supply, I agree with @Bassmidget209, you’ll probably want it underneath the board. I saw that T-Rex have a special bracket for that: https://www.t-rex-effects.com/brackets
On my board, I couldn’t find a bracket and didn’t want to drill, so I actually used some of the heavy duty removable “picture hanging strips” - it’s Velcro really, but can easily be removed without leaving glue marks or ripping the paint etc: https://www.3m.co.uk/3M/en_GB/p/d/v000273808/

@Damnthatlazlo that’s a really good deal!
This is a contentious subject, I am sure, but whenever I have bought pedals that already had Velcro on them, they had the hooks on. So I’d say put the loops side of the Velcro on the board

What case do they come with?
I don’t think they come in a case.

Liking it a lot. I’d go and see you if you play in London or Nottingham.

They were out of stock at Thomann for a few days, but they seem to have some new stock in. I have ordered a Seafoam Green jazz.

Is it not just a case of unfollowing the thread?
When you contribute to a thread, you automatically ”follow” it. If you unfollow (at the bottom of the thread) that should stop sending you notifications.

Dean also used to have the Stylist bass, a big bodied hollow beauty that was really quite deep - loud enough to play acoustically and sounds great as a semi.

Nice bass. Out of curiosity, are the original bits included?

Just a slight correction @Waddo Soqable: on the aluminium neck Kramer basses (and guitars) it's bakelite not ebonol.
I have always seen Kramer fretboards documented as being Ebonol. For instance this, which is credited on https://www.vintageguitar.com/14317/kramer-aluminum-neck-basses/ as being taken from Kramer’s 1979 catalog:
Have you got a pointer to documentation for a Bakelite fretboard?

I don’t even bother “bumping” my for sale ads anymore. I assume that no-one is interested the first time around, so they won’t the second time either.
That may be true of the people who saw it the first time round. Bumping it means that more/different people will see it the second time round. When on Basschat I tend to read the first few pages of “unread threads”. So the recent stuff.

I bought a Korg Monologue synthesiser from Peter. We communicated over a couple of weeks to arrange a date and place to fit around my travel arrangements and Peter was very patient and accommodating, putting no pressure on me.
At Peter’s suggestion we had a video call for him to show me that the synth was fully working but he also gave a lot of tips about this particular model and synths in general. It was a very useful and enjoyable call.
A great basschatter and transaction. I hope to meet again soon and share my progress

@Rib13Bass good, entertaining video. They are not all made in Korea. Mine is made in Japan.

Bit (too) late to the thread, but there is also the big PMT store in Old Street, not far from the City.

I'll be bringing two rigs - a combo and a head + cab - so you're welcome to plug into mine.
Fantastic, thank you!

I'd like to see a Kramer, so if you're able to bring it that would be great. There will be plenty of amps to try it in.

Cool, then put me down for that 😊

I am coming from Grantham. It’s good, I can take the train and then a bus from Nottingham station.

@Frank Blank I will be using public transport, hence can’t bring very much. I have a couple of semi interesting basses that people may be curious about and tempted to have a play on. So besides curiosity, I could bring a Kramer 450B (alu neck) if it can be plugged into someone else’s rig.

@Richard R : Brawley 4 and 5 string, EBS session 60 amp, cheap Aeon sustainer, scales to weight basses with, cake
@petecarlton: Shuker Nuclear Device Jean-Jacques Burnel Signature Lite P-bass, Mayones Cali 4 Triskelion travel bass, Bugera Veryron BV 1001M Mosfet head, Ashdown Studio 210 combo, bits and pieces - and cake
@Machines: Dingwall D-Roc 5, Dingwall NG-3, Warwick Gnome 280w + Ashdown RM210 (probably)
@Andyjr1515 : SWAAPATWTBWADS Bubinga Fretless, probably Pete's Swift lightweight piccolo build and maybe also his (not lightweight) EB-3 tribute
@Ander87 Some of the gear in his signature - Rickenbacker 4003, MM Stingray Special 4HH, Fender AO Precision 60s, a few pedals on a Nano + Ampeg SVT 2 Pro Premiere + Barefaced Six10
@Frank Blank: Jabba short scale fretted, Jabba short scale fretless, Nordstrand Acinonyx, QSC K12.2, whichever preamp I'm using at the time.
@NickA couple of Wals and a Dolphin. You've all seen and played the mk1 fretless, and the dolphin, but I got a mk2 5er just before the prices went silly. Some PJB stuff too. Might bring the double bass .. how big is the room?
@PTB: MTD 535, Limelight Pino replica, possibly a MusicMan, MarkBass combo, HX XL & extension leads 😎
Richard's mate Darran: Nice Ibanez and the Aria Sinsonido silent bass. Ashdown amp if there's space in the car.
A dozen confirmed would be good, let's see who else we can rustle up 🤠
I have never been to a bash. Can you only get in if you set up shop and bring some gear? No “visitors only”?

@Alex Buzzard is looking for a Mosrite (among others) - this gives off quite the Mosrite vibe. Could be an option?

DOD fx72 Bass Stereo Flanger for me. Found the sounds I was after pretty quickly and never needed to try an alternative.
E-tickets...how do you sell tickets for your band??

I have been to a few gigs using Dice, as a punter. I like the app, the ability to send tickets to friends, the all inclusive price etc. Venues (that tend to be smaller) don’t always use the QR codes, that is true 🤷
