  11. These are very instructive. Try one out, and hear how much difference pickup position makes. After that it's very hard to believe that woods make much real difference, for me at least.   13. I've got a Yamaha RBX200F, plays very nicely with flats on (don't know about rounds). They cost £100 or so second-hand and if I didn't have one already I'd buy one without hesitation.
