1. Worth putting the new price in the title, otherwise people who couldn't buy at the original price won;t see the new price...
2. I had a quick go on this when I sold Mike my SR500 in the spring. Usually I find P necks are too big for me, but this was really comfortable to play. It's a great bass. Good luck with the sale

I sold Steve my white SR300. All went well and he was very welcoming when I delivered it (unfortunately that visit had to be cut short, through no fault of his). I'd be happy to deal with him again. Thanks Steve, and I'm glad Harry seems to be enjoying the SR

Sold.

Mine is not at all the sort of bass I like... neck is a treetrunk. But I love it and can't see myself ever getting rid of it.
5. Withdrawn; I'm going to use the pickup, and possibly the scratchplate, elsewhere. The body and bridge will go up for sale separately.
6.
is the body £35 posted?
No, £35 plus postage.
7.
PayPal payment these days can also be by "pay friends" to do it with no fees either way.
Thank you, that's worth knowing.
8. My first five was a Yamaha BBN5. Pups a bit puny, fine apart from that. I wish I'd never sold it.
9.
Bargain, that. If I hadn't picked up a beater SR500 I'd have it. Jon.
Too late
10. Do I remember rightly that these are rather nice? £125, collect only, NW London. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bassmaster-funk-Bass-guitar-gig-bag-/152149177516?hash=item236ccc34ac:g:0ZUAAOSwEjFXdD~Z
11.
I think exposed wires and control plates on the back could catch on.
They could catch on lots of things. Hopefully the new owner likes to wear trousers to play
12. Having said all that, someone paid less than £20 for a neck, a couple of pickups, etc.... Didn't think that one through... and I'll be near Frome on Friday.
13.
... PS. If it's finally a Fender you like the look of, why not build one, or I'll build you one. I was going to add up what I spent on bits at some stage.
Thanks Phil. Yeees... an idea of what it cost would help (mostly to make me sure I can't afford to do it ). I agree with cocco, the Tele headstock is the key. Unfortunately I don't really get on with Tele necks, so I'd have to cut down a J-type neck, which shouldn't be too bad - I've got something which might do. Let me have a think.
14. I like this. I think we've already had a thread about it, or one of its cousins?
15. I actually laughed aloud.
16. Nice one! Finally, someone's built a Fender I actually really like the look of... I'm pleased it came together for you. I thought when you sold the neck a couple of months back you might have abandoned it.
