Tempted but holding out for the T-47.

Finally got around to getting a whammy-type thing going on the C4. It’s not as straightforward as it could have been but with some cool MIDIUM features, I managed it. https://on.soundcloud.com/Ms9AmUN2RMSnqC4J8 https://on.soundcloud.com/NEqf4wtwgHvqA6hu8

Been on a mega Scary Pockets binge. Lots of good candidates from these amazing musicians.

The extra cost easily justifies itself. Buy used for less. The Morningstar stuff holds its resale value. The midiBeam won’t. Truly, I’d recommend waiting and getting the MS. If you don’t get into it, you won’t lose much, if anything.

No, afraid not. I sold my MC6 shortly after I bought it because the MC8 came out and I wanted more buttons. I sold my MC8 recently as I am beta testing the MC6 Pro now and its extended functionality means I don’t miss the extra two buttons much. You can pick up a used MC6 (or the cheaper MC3) if you look around. There is an MS Facebook group and they come up there.

I have no idea, I only ever powered it directly from the mains or my PC during testing. There are folks who use powered USB hubs on their boards and I guess you could power it from something like that. It’s a bit of an oversight that it can’t be directly powered via standard 9V supplies. Another reason I’d rather recommend the Morningstar stuff.

Thank you. I’ll forward that pic to Jon - he has a keener eye than I. -

Thanks. Is it perhaps better to line the straight edge of the ruler against the the slopes vertical line of the letter (at the same angle) and measure that length? -

Thanks. I’m specifically looking for the larger early 70s decal though. -

It’s not so much the housing size but the control method. Have patience, cool stuff is coming.

Thanks. However, I don’t need anyone to produce it for me as I’ve already done the template myself, I just need the original measurement so that Jon can print mine at the correct size. -

That’s exactly what I meant. Thank you. Can any other users verify this? Just want to get a couple of data points to be certain in case there’s variation. -
Hi, could anyone who has one of these (or a Japanese reissue) please accurately tell me how tall the letter I is in the decal in mm from top edge to bottom edge? I’m getting a spoof decal made for my Shuker build and need to know what scale it should be printed at. Thanks in anticipation.
