Oh and when Jon Shuker was setting it up with these strings, he measured:
37.5mm nut
22mm 1st
24.25mm 12th

I think this used to be mine (though it had a black pick-up cover on the J pickup?). If it was mine, it's an absolutely staggeringly good bass. Undoubtedly, the finest Fender type necks I've played - the J necks are super-slender and feel fabulous in the hand. One of Basschat's finest sellers too!
Nope. I specced this and ordered from Lakland. Pickup cover was sprayed with the same paint as the body at my request to make it look more like a regular P.
I sold it to @Platypus. I note it was in The Gallery for a while too.
I’ve got a clip of it with these strings on (presuming they are the ones I sold it with).

Have you tried running both together, set to different settings? It sounds brilliant.

So i have to have the laptop setup usb to tue cy and my bass plugged in through the board and i can justxtest patches without downloading them to the pedal?
Yes, just make sure to check the input level on each preset after you’ve clicked on it before plucking a note or you might deafen yourself. Input levels vary vastly depending on who programmed the sound. (I have been asking SA for a global override that sets every preset to whatever your desired level is but C4 code space is exhausted. Hopefully it’ll make it into an eventual next version of it.)

not working for me. do you have to enable it?
Yes. I think it’s incompatible with the mode where you long press the footswitch to overwrite the preset settings.
Set pedal to “default” mode and enable quick switching in the settings menu of the desktop app.

I just checked mine. It does work.
It takes about 7 or 8 seconds of holding so not super useful.
Nope, enable quick-switching in the settings menu.

I've never used a switcher with it, but that's because I've only ever had 2 sounds I needed for one band. Leaning down to flick the switch looks a bit dumb I guess but its only two songs.
You can long press the footswitch to change banks so you could put one sound in one bank, the other in the other bank at the same toggle position.

Argh, trying not to buy more pedals!

I had the non + version and loved it. Sold it for cheap too, which I now regret of course.

Always wanted to try one of these. I’m trying to have fewer pedals not more. (Failing too.)

This popped up on a YouTube feed and it's terrific. Woods Empire released just one album in 1981, Universal Love being the standout track.
I think that Paul Jackson Jr. (Herbie Hancock) had the bass duties.
It's a wonderful piece of funky soul music.
If Silk Sonic do a second album they should cover this.
Always happy to hear more of PJ!

I can’t find it anywhere…?
It may have been a leak. It’s NAMM this week so it may well become official then.

surely Behringers BF-101 has to be out soon???
They announce stuff years before it’s anywhere near finished. The UB-Xa was announced about 6 years ago and only just came out a month or so ago.

To be honest I’m glad they’ve beat Behringer to the punch on this.

How on earth is this still here? I don’t need a second one of these but it’s sorely tempting!

There’s a manual up now, still in progress.

Touché! I’m waiting on a couple of mystery Star Wars pedals I ordered way back (the last update was late December saying they’d be in their way soon), then the Star Wars board should see the light of day! It’s still missing functionality like a compressor and a delay but I’m hoping it won’t be bad for a themed board. If anyone has any more Star Wars pedals I’d love to know! Thanks to @lee650 for getting me started and those who’ve helped!
For me, this is peak Star Wars (without any actual Star Wars imagery):

Swap it for a Star Wars one? 😉

Good shout, and done!
That's incredibly exciting for you, congrats! Let us know your thoughts! (Personally, I'm especially interested in whether a mid control would've been useful!)
Thanks.
MIDI control is not what these collaborations are about. One can always put it in a MIDI loop switcher. What I think folks might see as missing is the lack of footswitch capability for the “grit” and “scoop” controls.

Had it installed for weeks but have barely had any time on it sadly as there’s some major life stuff going on at the moment which doesn’t look like letting up any time soon. 😞

Yay! SA are sending me one of these soon with some other exciting new stuff!
@thisisswanbon do you fancy amending your thread title to accurately reflect the name of the pedal so that it will be able to be found more easily using the search function?

Emma Electronics Okto Nojs - Bass Fuzz and octave - on hold - *SOLD*
in Effects For Sale

I’ve had two of these. This octaver is the one that sounded best with my Mastotron both alone and running into filters to get synth-like tones. And yes, this gets mighty close in sound to the Doom 2. I’ve got some side-by-side comparisons. I can tell them apart but the difference is subtle (Doom has a slightly stronger higher harmonic that pops out). Both are very dynamic.
