Has anyone had any luck using the Octave up on a Source Audio Spectrum? I have been trying to recreate the sound that Rocco uses in Tioga Pass but the octave up just sounds terrible in my Spectrum. Even my Sub'n'Up sounds better.
Spectrum octave up is actually one of the synth voices from the C4 as opposed to a pitch-shifted clean signal.

£208 with free shipping from DV247 seems a good deal.
I'm in two minds to get one (again) but mostly to use with a keyboard - the alternative is getting a £49 software download that I can only use with my Akai MPC Keys (Minimoog model D emulation, and here it is in action) I dunno, FI is £159 extra but can be used with Bass (although the 'note-on' trigger annoys me, I guess I do a lot of octave jumps when playing synth basslines) and can be used with other keyboards and sold second hand, whereas the Mini D software is just for Akia MPC stuff and can't be re-sold. 🤔
Or buy my Behringer Model D. 😉

1. Can you remind me where these patches live?
Via the “global” directory in the editor or directly via the auraplug website (link in the second post on this thread).

And if I end up actually getting an actual Rhodes I'll have pedals aplenty to go with it ha ha
You won’t need all of them; the onboard effects are really tasty. Only thing missing is a reverb, but the delay can be set up to get close.

I have one of these and I really like it.
My only issue is that I spend ages looking for a compatible keyboard and then they went and release the model with an integral one!
Played it with an Osmose and that’s a very cool combination as you can route aftertouch to mod depth and get the pitch bend on the lateral key wiggle.
Are you talking about the Poly D when you mentioned the integral keyboard? It doesn’t really sound the same as the gain staging has been adjusted to accommodate the fourth oscillator and the keybed isn’t very good. Or did you mean the Moog reissue (which is lovely).

If space is an issue, @GisserD makes an excellent 3D-printed mini housing.

Could also bring this down to Bath if that helps anyone out in saving on postage.

Only just seen this. Now has a side chain input and bigger clean boost.

@admiralchew I’ve mentioned you were after a T-70 as I assume that is still the case.

May well end up hanging in to this after all…

A very good choice! It’s a hell of a lot of synth for the money. Someone has seen sense and it’s now spoken for, pending payment.
Seems I spoke too soon. Still for sale.

Buyer backed out due to postage costs being higher than I’d originally estimated. I’ve amended the initial post to give an accurate figure.

MJ has finally got a new one: Christ, gave me heart attack watching him unbox it!

@Me And My Bass are you still after one?
