The key update to Source Audio’s Sound Check functionality has now gone live. It’s now possible to create and hear presets in real time for any Source Audio pedal using just the Neuro 3 mobile or desktop app - no pedals or instruments required. This means you can check out in depth how this pedal will function and sound as an aid to determining whether it’d be something you’d use.

I think it’s time for me to have another rationalisation drive. I’m not really a huge user of compression and my much more basic Cali76 Compact Bass covers what I use.
This pedal has barely been used. It’s in outstanding condition. Comes boxed with power supply and paperwork.
More pictures upon request or to be added later.
Price includes postage to the mainland UK via Special Delivery.
I have a couple of other SA pedals up for sale. Save on postage. Also I’ll knock off £5 for each extra pedal bought together.

This pedal was my spare one so has barely been used. It’s in pretty much as-new condition. Comes boxed with power supply and paperwork.

Use coupon code baconpancakes for 15% off Grand Slampegg now through June 1.
Probably saves about £60 overall once import duties are factored in.

😂 I'm definitely staying away from that thread then! I suppose each lapse is a recurring advertisement for new gear? We should just continue to swap.
It’s a good strategy.
I even considered some kind of BC pedal club/library idea where a bunch of people chip in a set amount each, we buy a pedal, pass it between us until everyone has had a go, sell it, then use the funds to buy another.

@kuetsum I enjoyed the laughing emoji. You know me well enough that pedal discipline has been, shall we say, lax. In 2025 I have actually sold more pedals than I've bought, which is the first time since 2020. It's not really enough to join the gear abstinence thread but it's a start!
This year was my first time joining the gear abstinence thread. I think I was the first to fail and probably bought the most pedals I’ve ever bought in a single year in the months since then. 😂 Maybe next year.

Brilliant piece of kit. Essential if you have a great sounding synth with limited sound design options.
Not for me at this moment in time, but I'll spread the word........
Thanks!
If you ever get a P10 or P6 though…

This fantastic box adds a wealth of functionality to existing synths, including extra envelopes, LFOs, arpeggiator, sequencer (notes and parameters), extra patch storage, selective note aftertouch, and much more.
This one is in the Prophet style with all the available extras. Has the walnut end cheeks, 1/4” CV ports, the all-synths pack, the option pack, white OLED.The unit is brand new and unused. I literally only opened it to upgrade the firmware for a potential buyer and to check that all knobs and switches work.
I helped Steve at Yorick with a few feature and UI ideas.
These are no longer being made.
I’ve just come to realise that having simplicity/limited options works better for me as it means I spend less time designing sounds and more time playing. Also I need to recoup some funds due to unforeseen health circumstances.
Can be posted in the UK via Special Delivery for around £20 (exact price to be confirmed). Collection in person also welcome.

Final reduction to £1850. If it doesn’t go at this price, I’ll keep it in the closet.

Software version is shown at power-on so should be possible to check if you’re near the pedal.

just got this new compressor from Sonicake, supposedly a 1176 in a 1590a box. just had a quick test and its on the subtle side, but good enough for most (of my own) application. no low end loss even with the Blend completely off, LED color changes with the amount of compression applied (a bit slow to react tho) Overall it will not replace my Cali76TXPL, but will keep this one for my cheap 1590a setup. IMO best bass compressor below £40 new.
@lee650 could be worth a punt.

Can anyone recommend an IR loader to use with my NS Design EUB with the Sigma Bass IRs? @JPJ looks like he has done the same thing I'm thinking of. I could use the stomp but apparently it's better to have more milliseconds. The TC Electronics looks good but ideally I'd like a headphone out to double as a wee practice rig. Looked at the Tonexone but not sure if it will be better than the stomp .... or if I'll even notice 😄
Shift Line CabZone Bass has fully-replaceable cab sims if you don’t like any of the stock ones.
