  1. He only really showed the (less commonly used) downsweep on bass, and that takes a bit more careful dialling in.
  2. I know I posted the whole albums above but these two tracks in particular have been lodged in my brain for weeks now:
  3. Stone cold classic record. Check out the albums “Cabbage Alley” and “Fire on the Bayou” too.
  4. I had one of these for years, in fact this could well be the one I owned. Really cool pedal.
  5. Pretty sure I’ll be checking one of these out!
  6. Red silks is the FL set (43-104). (45-105 would have black silks.)
  7. Ooh, nice. So you’re doing a batch of these?
  8. Details here: https://www.trapdoorelectronics.com/product-page/active-acid

  9. Is that their Neptunium or Nobellium? That would be interesting to try, thanks.
  10. Plenty of spin-off potential if they were to draft in the creator to make models of other classic synths.
  11. Another Basschat win - kindly getting a loan of the GS for a bit. Such a great community!
  12. Sometimes contacting bigger companies via Facebook / FB messenger is more fruitful than other avenues.
  13. Customs duties and VAT on effects pedals is usually 22.5% of the declared price plus and admin fee of about £12. The exact amount depends on what the monthly HMRC exchange rate for the the month is - these are fixed in advance so you can look them up and get an exact calculation.
  14. Really recommend the FI and there’s a cheap one on here at the moment (and housed in the smaller box that @GisserD made:
  15. I think I’ll probably take a bit of a break from doing this for a bit as I’ve got through most of the ones I wanted to try most. Would still love to try a Grand Slampegg if possible though.
  16. Absolute steal of a price for this with all it includes.
  17. Bumping to keep the votes coming.
  18. I’ve just listed one of these for sale.
  19. Don’t think I’ve seen one of these come up anywhere used since launch. Though it’s billed as a “lofi elements” pedal, it excels in plenty of “normal” stuff too: 24db/octave Moog-style ladder filter with self-mod feature; Chorus; Flange; Delay; Reverb; Drive/Distortion; EQ; Compression; Highpass and lowpass filtering (non resonant); Tape saturation. And the other far-out stuff: Glitch; Sample rate reduction; Bit crush; Ring modulator; Vinyl clicks/surface noise; 50/60Hz hum; Bad cable noise; Dropout signal failure. The envelope and LFO can be directed at multiple destinations simultaneously with differing individual depths. As others have attested to, it’s worth the price for the filter alone. Also, this is a new format for SA which gives access to the first 16 presets directly on the panel and a lot more top-panel controls for parameters than any of their previous pedals. This means you can get an extraordinary variety of sounds out of it without ever having to hook it up to the mobile app or desktop editor. However, for those of you who want to go deeper, there’s loads under the hood of you do hook it up. I don’t really need more than one exemplar of this pedal and have some other pedal outgoings I could do with recouping so offering this. It’s in excellent condition and will come with the box and a USB-C cable. This one doesn’t have a power supply but if you need one, I can probably rustle up a spare one. More pictures available upon request. Price includes free UK postage via Royal Mail Special Delivery (fully tracked and insured). I posted some clips in this thread a while ago:
  20. The choruses are way nicer than the ones in Gemini etc. the EQ is pretty powerful too.
