    Passive and lovely. This is a great example of an early Westone Thunder 1. For a 38 year old bass this is virtually unmarked ding-wise. Nails the PBass tone with Thor’s hammer. Weighs approx 4.9 kg.- ish ( bathroom scales method ). There’s no case or anything. Any Questions fire away. Can be collected from Norfolk or London ( I spend half my week in either place). Postage can be done ( I’ll take the neck off if necessary) but that’s not included in the price. Thanks for looking.

    Ahhhhh. The “She Sells Sanctuary” bass. Well that’s what Jamie Stewart from The Cult (name drop) told me many moons ago. Reason enough to buy one of these. Go listen again to the track and tell me I’m not wrong! Ignore the Musicman in the video nonsense ( mutters to himself I don’t need a Precision etcetc) 😀GLWTS

    This takes me back....Pete Tullett used to sit in with my step father's Jazz outfit (Dave Bakers Jazz Cats) many years ago he was a local man from Downham Market here in Norfolk. I always wanted one of his amps... Lovely item. I wish i wasnt in the realm of selling rather than buying. other wise this would be mine.

    My old one i think.? . Sold to Marcus at bass direct. Lovely... only got rid cos i have a headed Status Empathy 5. Thats what you have to go to to upgrade from this lovely instrument. In an ideal world this still wouldve been sitting with me.

    Got mine earlier this year.. Love it to bits. Records amazingly well and everyone who picks it up thinks about selling their American instruments and buying one. Can't think of a better accolade... Those Villex PUPS though... lovely tone.

    These are great for all sorts of things. In fact in my home studio everything goes through this first to see if it CAN’T sound better through it. ( not much doesn’t benefit except phantom powered mics they need the 48v juice) Get one they sound fab!
