Old SM7 pedal from the 90's (?). In rough working condition with a few niggles. 1) the faders are extremely stiff to move. ( Contact cleaner/lubricant may help here) 2) the first position of the preshape switch ( pre shape 1 or out) doesn't seem make a sound. ( Maybe needs cleaning/ changing the switch) Pre Shape 2 ( in) position works fine 3) Battery power doesn't seem to work. This is moot as the included 18v supply will power the unit just fine. Maybe a loose solder joint inside? It comes on its own mounted wooden board with plug extension. I'm just looking to recover some of the cash spent getting it ( the PSU alone was £25.00) Any further queries shoot me a message. It's really a project for someone although I did a few gigs with it recently so if you can live with the niggles it does work as it is. Postage will be £10

Lovely metallic blue finish. Great starter or beater bass. I bought it recently for exactly that purpose and put some hours into tidying it up and put a brand new set of Fender strings (0045 medium gauge). It plays very well, medium action. I've been spoilt by my main bass (a Status Empathy 5) and can't get on with the spacing on the neck. There are a few dings and swirls ( pictured) but nothing that stops the show Comes with a reasonably tatty but emininently usable Ritter gig bag. Great Precision sound for not a lot of cash. Can ship at buyer expense within the UK. I'll ensure its well packed and can remove the neck for additional safety..... But would prefer a meet either here at home in Norfolk ( unlikely I know 😆) or at a station in London ( I work there 4 days a week) that way we're eliminating couriers that have probably had a bad day as it's super busy now for xmas and have reached the end of their patience.

Sorry let me confirm that properly. Looking down at the bass controls from your playing position... in a left to right direction....Volume, PICKUP Balance, Mid Choke ( mid cut) , and finally the control nearest the Jack socket is a conventional ( passive) Tone control which rolls off the treble. Hope that's clearer.

OVERVIEW: Lovely example of some of Jon's more traditional work. It's kitted out with the superb Villex Pickups , great as they add a mid-choke in addition to the more traditional hi-choke afforded by conventional passive basses. The Mid Choke enables a smiley eq curve to be achieved with out the noise of an active preamp. This thing has Marcus tone for days...and no batteries required. It also comes with a Genuine Hipshot D tuner, great for those moments when you need to drop the E down to plumb the sonic depths available below conventional tuning. I'm not utterly sure about the reverse machine head origins. I know Jon uses Schaller and Hipshot currently but I don't know if this was the case back then. ABM maybe? There are a few dings on the bottom underside of the bass ( picture) genuine use not designer road rash. There is a ding on the neck just north of the neck plate ( pictured) but due to the thick poly laquer it doesn't reach the wood below, but it's there. TONE: You can dial in Marcus tone Immediately. Especially if you tug on the mid choke. The front pickup gave me a particularly pleasing Robbie Shakespeare dub experience on a session recently. In essence the 70's Jazz tone is there in full effect. It's not a lightweight at 4.5 kg but not a backbreaker by any means. And I've done long gigs with it without issue ( not the same can be said of my go-to, a 5 string Status Empathy 😏) Any further questions ? Then feel free to drop me a line. I'm based in West Norfolk, but travel to London each week to work so pickup is available in two locations. I will post at buyers expense and will pack appropriately. Have a good week!

Righto Update 1x15 cab is sold! Update Head sold subject to completion. This is a chance to get traditional trace gear in good working condition for a bargain price. PICKUP ONLY..... You'll need a van or a friend with one! Up for grabs is a 4x10 cab, 1x15 cab a 2x10 cab* and a GP12 SMX 280w head* (the head was removed from the 2x10 combo to give more options as a stand alone head) Tatty covering on some parts ( the head especially, nothing a bit of tolex wont sort out) everything working fine. All cabs and amp are the Maldon factory years. All drivers are original Celestion for Trace all work perfectly. Any Questions fire away! Can split but mainly looking to give someone a bargain!

I dumno..it works on my brother's old laptop with Windows XP faultlessly. I managed to get a driver for it to work on Windows 10 for about three days then the inevitable windows update broke it again by replacing the USB driver with a later ( non working version) it's just far easier to have an old cheap ( I see xp netbooks for £30) xp laptop for this and use that....takes all the headache out of everything.

500 watts into 4 ohms ( 2x250w output) Includes the windows software. Programmable Preamp. Software works a treat on Windows XP not so much on Win 7 and 10.( The driver software is the culprit ........I've heard you can get around it in Win 7 and Win 10 but I gave up trying.....) Small but solid. This is no MarkBass or TE Elf featherweight. Tatty but fully functional. It's gonna be 10-20 quid to ship I should imagine. Open to pickup of course. I work in London so a meet up there is possible as well as here in Norfolk.
