1. Thanks, Nancy - er I mean Paul - after I posted that question I came across a review which gave the same figures you've given above. I would like to put an offer in but not sure when I'll be up that end of the M4 next. At least once a month, usually, I come up the M4 and cut through Bracknell to the M3 and the south east but no immediate trips planned. Will be in touch a soon as I know anything.
2. Hi Nancy. I looked at the Cutsheet in the link but it's not clear to me whether they mean these are the dimensions of the carton or the actual cab. Is 27x18x17.75" correct for the cab? Sorry to be picky but room in my little Golf is at a premium! Thanks in advance.
3. My eyes are useless! That's a pity as it would have been ideal for a little project I have ongoing. Thanks.
4. Thanks for that - and the deal is the preamp, power-amp and 3U rack case? If so does the 3U case cover/protect the rear section of the power amp? sorry for all the nagging questions!
5. Lots and lots of power! May I ask what sort of cabs did you use with this amp?
6. Okay, thanks - I'm thinking about it but there's too much choice on here!
7. Has this now departed and if not - whereabouts in S.Yorks art thou?
8. Oh that is very nice! I'm no expert but I don't think you need to do much if the condition is already good. Perhaps a clean and polish - I use Stephensons Old English furniture cream on the body and neck and MusicNomad F1 oil on the fretboard. As for the switch I'd be tempted to look for a button or dome-headed nut and bolt with a similar chrome finish - it would be barely noticeable until you find a replacement. Enjoy!
9. Hmmmm...... (drums fingers annoyingly on desk) ............all that power.....inner turmoil.....groan.
10. Looking at the fuse rating in the photo of the rear panel - is this 120Vac and therefore needs a step-down mains transformer?
11. I know they are a funny shape but could you give a realistic idea of the size of these cabs? I'm interested in them but storage space at home and carrying space in my Golf are at a premium! Thanks.
12. This bass reminds me of myself; old and overweight yet handsome and desirable! I'll be watching this with interest - GLWTS.
13. Just bought a Korg Pitchblack (my 2nd coz I like 'em) from Cliff. Speedy delivery, condition as described and Cliff is a pleasure to deal with.
14. What impedance is the cab, please? Also, I'm wondering what the jack adapters are for when the head and cab both seem to have Speakon sockets.
15. Reading the spec it says "parallel twist and lock' - does that mean standard Speakons?
16.
That's a shame, I love the HD series Bergs.
Me too! Why are we never satisfied with what we have? That's a deep philosophical question right there.
17. Ah that's taken the pressure off then - my Streamliner can't go below 4. GLWTS
