    It is a really good sounding preamp! The Bassmaster can also be used as a "standalone" all valve amp. I wrote something about the Bassmaster here.

    I wrote something about the X here and started to write something about the X7 here (its not finished yet...and only in german...). My first impressions: Interesting sounds, maybe a bit to much "fuzz" with the X. It is not so easy to get some smooth Overdrive sounds with the X. The X7 sounds similar but got the better settings to get also some lower and smoother Overdrive sounds.
