2graham
Don't know if you've checked out the GB website recently but in demos Bernie tries to demonstrate the awesome visual effect created by the quilted maple body of a 4 string GB Spitfire. I am the extremely proud owner of that badboy and can not tell you how much I love that bass! Here are some more pictures for you to check out, going from the original wood board to finished product! It is just the most effortless bass to play and the finish from top to finish is just beautiful, just trying to save up for an EBS rig now (HD 350, 2x12, 1x15) anyone want to lend me a couple of grand? Enjoy the pics...
Kiwi
thats my fave colour combo for a bass - blueburst quilted maple and a maple board.

EBS_freak
Having seen this bass in the flesh (so to speak), I can vouch that it has the most ridiculous quilt ever. I've never seen a bass with such a 3d top ever. Its a beaut - and of course it plays and sounds spot on! Nice one!
