Good deal on a Epiphone Ripper - nice looking bass too

Great deal! I have an old Ripper from the early 70s (heavily modded) and it's a superb bass. Rippers seem to divide opinion - some love 'em (like me), others loathe 'em. The Epi is very different from an original but still looks suberb and I'd suspect, is a decent player. You'll need to consider a case - Rippers definitely won't fit in a standard case (body width).

I love them too - damn, that's one handsome guitar.

My Washburn Sacvenger (eyes left) is very similar in shape and also has a fat arse - fits into a Hiscox STD-EBP case.

I remember drooling over the Gibson Ripper that was on display in a local guitar shop when I was younger, I could justify it at the time, but never afford it - now I can afford it, I can't justify it - typical.

But if these are as good as I have heard - it may be a solution to decades of unfulfilled GAS - after all, what's in a name :)

Ah well, that just got rid of any GAS for me :)
