JMT3781 Posted March 23, 2010 Share Posted March 23, 2010 Had a quick go on the new mxr bass octaver.. complete with blue sparkle finish casing must say my first impression was great (with my Shuker and markbass 2x10 combo).. very responsive with a bit of growl and dirt to play with too. Im going back in a few days with my ebs octabass to compare the too.. no doubt im going to end up withe two octavers though anyone else tried/own one? I used it with an MXR bass auto Q, MXR M80 bass DI for a little distortion for some synth bass lines on some live dance tracks I was doing recently. I was GASing for both the MXR BOD and the Octamizer, but it's safe to say I don't even need to try the MXR. The Aguilar F'in rocks!!!
