Mony Mony (Billy Idol version)
Vertigo
Times like these
All my life
Message in a bottle
Roxanne

All the small things

As you and I play the same sort of boozers (have been offered a gig or two in the Dakota down your way). Sorry if these are on the lists already mentioned.

Anything by The Killers
Anything by Kings of Leon
Jenny dont be hasty by Paulo Nutjob (the women love it)
Folsom prison blues by Johnny Cash-trust me, 2nd set, everbody pissed, killer!

These songs have been scientificaly tested on the pub goers of the West of Scotland by us!

Ones to avoid....I know, we tried em recently and they died on their ar*e!

Play that funky music
Anything by Biffy Clyro
Innocent by Stereophonics
Burn baby burn by Ash. The drummer picked this one, says it all!

Hope that helps.

New song we added that people seem to love is "sweet disposition" by Temper track.

I think its because people dont expect bands to cover it. We have no keyboard player, but our guitard plays with decay and to be fair to him, sounds pretty good. Always see peoples faces light up when they realise what it is. Stupidly easy on bass too

Bowie's "Star Man"
you can see people's faces during the intro and first verse looking puzzled -they know this song but what is it?
When the chorus comes in that look changes to "Oh wow! It's that one!" if they are p1ssed enough they all join in on the nah nah nah bit.
It's a bitch to play and requires the vocal range of a god.

Yeah that Christmas one was brilliant :)

In the modern and popular department:
Chelsea Dagger
I predict a Riot
Ruby Ruby Ruby

In the not so new department
My new Slade record reminded me that they made some cracking pub rock stuff so

Far far away (great bassline)
Come on feel the noise
Goodbye to Jane
Mother Mother we are all Crazy now
(sorry but I don't agree with Slade's spelling method  )
Plus their version of "Darling be home soon" is good.

In the very, very old but still good department check out Fish Fry by Tom Principato
It's a version of Louis Jordan's Saturday night fish fry from the 40's but it's got a modern blues trio feel. That seems to fit what you have in your set currently.
