Gentlemen, start your engines!

This would originally have had the Golden Lion KT77 valves in and probably dates from 1980, that's around the time these were fitted. With EL34 the output will be 100 W. The build quality of these amps is second to none, on a par with the mil-spec Hiwatts that Dave Reeves made in the 1970s and early 80s.

I've never seen one of these on Ebay before, so it will be very interesting to see what it goes for.

Yup, when I pay back Mr Foxen I'll have a GPA preamp, an MPA preamp and two SL100 100w power units. The GPA is a little crackly at the moment and could use a revalve soon but they sound great. Wanna get some KT77's in them when I can afford it. Will get some pics up at some point too.
:) Couldn't believe this went so cheap (£205) - if it hadn't been the other side of the country I'd have had it in a heartbeat
Mind you, got enough valve amps in various states of decrepitude.....
OMFG!! £205! So annoyed I am broke. Sooooo annoyed. ARGH! Been after one of these for ages..

that was a super cheap price. If I was still in the UK I would have snagged it. Someone I know in the US was interested in it as well but didn't bid because he didn't have the spare cash. I guess its probably the same with many places by the sound of it.

Lesson in not trying to be a smart arse.
You know you only put in your max, and ebay bids as necessary up to that point? Seems a lot of people forget that it doesn't go straight to your maximum, so you can drop your max in whenever, and you only miss out if someone bids more.
