Identify these flats please?

Can anyone confirm what brand these are please? I’ve a feeling they may be Fenders, but not 100% sure. TIA.

My guess would be Fenders too. What is the tension like? I found Fenders quite stiff but liked the tone.

Yes the green wrap and ball end colours correspond to Fenders I have.

I haven’t much experience of flats to compare them with, but they feel okay-ish to me.

9050s. Green silks and the mint green ball end is the give away.

Deff Fenders. Cant believe no-ones said it yet

**edit** I also found them quite stiff compared to similar strings by other manufacturers

What would you recommend in a similar price bracket to the Fenders but not quite so stiff then?

Ernie Ball Flats are highly underrated and are definitely less stiff.

I'm a big fan of Ernie Group flats (I don't like the Cobalts at all). They are easy to play and have a really nice non-grabby feel under the fingers.

Quite bright to start but that settles in to the best old sound I've ever had from a string.

 

I like them so much I've even done the E45 cream thing with them to get them there faster!

Ive tried several too, my preference is the Status Hotwires, but sadly they arent available anymore.

Have got La Bellas on at the mo, but they arent cheap

Thanks - will investigate these. Also handy as looking to top up an order from Thomann with something to save on postage costs. They come in my choice of gauge too, so win win. Cheers.
