Woodwind Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I need to reconfigure my boards for a show in February and will most likely use this new set up for a while after. I was originally running two DI feeds to FOH, but I need to blend both my channels to one DI for this show. I have been looking for an inexpensive 2 channel mixer pedal and can't find anything outside of second hand Boss KM2 which would be absolutely ideal apart from the price. Does anyone know of a similar pedal to a KM2 that is being produced now? I'd like something small so it can be mounted on my board. A switcher is no good as I use both channels simultaneously. Thanks for any pointers Quote
pete.young Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago LM-2 seems to do what you want - plug the 2 channels into A and B returns and use the A+B setting. 1 Quote
Woodwind Posted 4 hours ago Author Posted 4 hours ago Thank you both for the suggestions. Having had a look at both these led me to the Sonicake Portal as well, so I will have a better look at all 3 over Christmas Quote
ASW Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Can you give more info as to what your current setup is? I've got some ideas, but all dependent on what you're using. 1 Quote
HoorayForAnonyms Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Earthquaker Devices and Red Panda do guitar specific pedal board mixers. I’ve haven’t tried either so can’t vouch on quality etc. but considered both when I was looking for a mixer. I ended up going down the AB/Y route. https://www.redpandalab.com/products/mixer.html https://www.earthquakerdevices.com/four-to-one-mixer And Saturnworks do a range of mixer pedals that can purchased from the US via their Reverb. https://saturnworkspedals.com/product/summer-mixer-pedal/ Edited 1 hour ago by HoorayForAnonyms 1 Quote
SimonK Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago EHX tri-parallel mixer: https://www.ehx.com/products/tri-parallel-mixer/ I use one to mix three preamps on my 80s throw-back guitar rig, and it's great as it has both phase and level controls. It's also pretty cheap. 1 Quote

I've got some ideas, but all dependent on what you're using. I have 2 pedal boards that I select between using a switcher A/B pedal. Each board goes to its own DI box and a dedicated channel on the FOH mixer. Pedal board A will have a loop or sustained notes running that I then pitch shift while playing over the top of it using pedal board B so both channels have active outputs at once, it's not either or. For my show in February the logistics are severely compromised so I want to simplify everything massively and was thinking I'd use something like that vintage Boss KM2 to mix both my pedal boards into one di feed. My fee for this show is low so I'd rather economise on the mixer front. Under 50quid is where i'm looking, so the boutique mixers and ABY loopers are out. I have a behringer 8 channel mixer I could use worse case scenario, but I'd rather something small and simple that I can power from my existing power chain and have stuck to a board Edited 49 minutes ago by Woodwind Quote
