jd56hawk Posted December 16, 2025 Posted December 16, 2025 I'm praying for the day every MIM costs $1,000 plus. Quote
dudewheresmybass Posted December 19, 2025 Posted December 19, 2025 Great to see the legend @King Tut last night playing at the Cart and Horses, Stratford - one of my 'home' venues yesterday. We had a great chat about many things including Steve's new sig bass. Stray were phenomenal as always, and I studied Harris at close quarters 3 1 Quote

It's just a standard P Bass with a silver/mirror scratchplate. So it's ripping off its own Phil Lynott model then. 1 Quote
dudewheresmybass Posted February 4 Posted February 4 I managed to have a play with the new model on Denmark St yesterday - with a very understanding wife nearby lol It's lovely. The neck felt a little slimmer than my Blue model, but only just. The pups deliver very well, and you don't miss the spb4. Still very pricey for it though - I'll be waiting to see if any appear on the s/h market 1 Quote
Dood Posted February 4 Posted February 4 I really like his red one. Which has given me a great idea for my next 'tribute' build... 2 Quote

Your bass looks absolutely fantastic! I too have a MIJ precision that will get the treatment and, although I adore candy apple red, even the candy cola red, I have a slight obsession with chameleon flip paint and have a very special red in mind! Thank you for posting, definitely solidified my plan! 1 Quote

I know some random on Behschat is less impressive than a Sheehan or a Wooten, but I did actually buy my No 1 favourite bass as a direct result of your review. So by all means consider yourself an inspiration 👍😁 Edited 2 hours ago by RichT spelling Quote
