la bam Posted Wednesday at 21:37 Posted Wednesday at 21:37 (edited) Hi all, I've picked this up as a doer upper. Needs a thorough (to say the least) clean, a new pot/stalk, and all the stickers removing. And a strap button. And a set up. Does anyone know what it is? I was thinking a bass collection, or perhaps an sx? But the D tuning peg is higher than A on the other side? Its a shallow but wide ish neck. Confused. Feels so so light, seriously the lightest I've ever had, and sounds very nice. Edited Wednesday at 21:42 by la bam 1 Quote
lemmywinks Posted Wednesday at 22:01 Posted Wednesday at 22:01 Tanglewood Rebel? Think you can see part of the logo on the body beneath the sticker. 6 Quote
lemmywinks Posted Wednesday at 22:06 Posted Wednesday at 22:06 (edited) Different logo to most of them, assume it's an older one? Another one like yours here with better pics: https://reverb.com/uk/item/45374901-secondhand-tanglewood-rebel-4-string-bass-trans-purple My old guitarist had one of these and it weighed a ton for the size of the thing, actually made it quite unwieldy so count yourself lucky you got a light one! Yeh, that looks like it! A few differences, but could be an older model. It is ridiculously light though, like lighter than a guitar light. Quote

Sean Posted yesterday at 09:31 Posted yesterday at 09:31 It'll be interesting to see how that cleans up. Quote
