MuddBass Posted September 19 Posted September 19 After a couple of recent gig mishaps with trailing leads changing my compressor settings mid-song, I've made a (prototype) acrylic shield today! 8 Quote
PaulThePlug Posted September 19 Posted September 19 (edited) Think Boss do a cover less the foot switch portion. Joyo Ironman with the knob flap are cool and dinky... Edited September 19 by PaulThePlug 3 Quote
dudewheresmybass Posted September 20 Posted September 20 That looks great! you could probably turn that into a small business! The Hardwire series from Digitech had a rubber cover for the knobs, and the Ibanez 7 series had pop up knobs. All great ideas, but I think this is clever @MuddBass 1 Quote
pantherairsoft Posted September 20 Posted September 20 This is a super cool alternative to the other options out there. Decksaver do a few pedal options, and they are good, but they only cover a few key brands. Rockboard Pedalsafe is another option, but is, IMO, highly over engineered. I really like the simplicity of this design. 2 Quote

jimbobothy Posted September 20 Posted September 20 … you can buy hand held strip heaters for this very thing. They do look a bit like hair straighteners, but are definitely not (you’d burn your hair if you tried lol) 1 Quote

Do you have any links to where you get these from? An Amazon search was unhelpful. 1 Quote
AxelF Posted September 26 Posted September 26 You sir need a wireless dongle not some hair straighteners! 1 Quote
MuddBass Posted October 11 Author Posted October 11 (edited) After trials of the MK1, here is an update, with the new MK2. So much better functionality and far snazzier too! Edited October 11 by MuddBass 2 Quote
