Johnnyguru Posted Monday at 18:06 Author Posted Monday at 18:06 Been looking at one of these for a couple years now. Then this one tuned up for good price, soon found out why. New to bass so looking forward to getting started. 1 Quote

HeadlessBassist Posted Monday at 20:56 Posted Monday at 20:56 Lovely basses. Did you clamp the neck for a day or two while the glue set? 1 Quote

songofthewind Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago It looks like the joint where the headstock section is scarfed to the main part of the neck. I'm very surprised to see that joint fail. Great basses, btw. 3 Quote

The truss rod was loose, the nut slots were well out. not a very good set up🤔 Quote

It can happen. It's a scarf joint, very commonly used in tilt-back headstock designs. The headstock likely came under some forward pressure which overstressed the joint.
