Reverse delay for Bass?

Strange query, but I play in a post-punk group that leads me to generate some strange sounds out of my bass. I want to explore some more strange effects, and I'm looking into getting something with a reverse delay on it. Alot of the info online is quite scattered (and expensive!) though. Does anyone have any suggestions for a budget reverse delay that isn't rubbish? Thanks

Although not a budget option, the Source Audio Nemesis is a great pedal for strange sounds, including reverse delay.

TC Electronic Flashback delay has a lot of flexibility. Reasonably cheap second hand.

If it’s mainly reverse delay you’re after, even the more recent Boss delays has reverse. Someone on here is selling a trio of them. The DD7 and DD6 definitely have reverse delay. They’re also handy as basic loopers…

I've heard alot of good things about the Nemesis - it's just the price that kills me. I might try my luck getting hold of a second hand one sometime in the future.

I've got some lovely reverse delay patches on my Line 6 M5 - these can be picked up for peanuts these days and punch way above their weight - the only downside is that they're bigger than a single pedal.

The reverse delay model in the old Zoom G1on, G1Xon, B1on, B1Xon, MS-50G, MS-60B and MS-70CDR is pretty damn great, actually.

I just bought the JHS flight delay on a sale from Andertons and LOVING it. It's still on offer today!

 

edit: sorry just realising you said "budget", well I guess £200 on sale is not that, but I think still worth considering.

 

Note that the reverse has a few pops and clicks in it which is considered normal, it's a... feature of the original circuit. But it sound pretty amazing otherwise.

There's a decent reverse delay on the Marshall echohead.

Tapable, and fairly easy to find.

Blatant plug... I just happen to have a 2-channel Joyo delay which does reverse for sale on the market place
