Still a 10 hour round trip and around 500 miles for me, plus it’s the cost as much as anything else but I am sure that would be helpful for folks who don’t live in the county that time forgot.

It's super easy to pack with 2 or 3 centimeters thick hard styrofoam or polystyrene and cardboard.

 

I've done it a lot of time.

 

Simply cut 6 panels of styrofoam to measure, put them around the cabinet with some tape and then put some cardboard and wrap the whole with large tape.

 

Job done.

 

I know it sounds like a cooking recipe...

I have borrowed a set of bathroom scales from my neighbour and they read 13.2kg. my old scales must have a flat battery. 

I've amended the listing.
