4.1-4.3 kg depending on the scales but it’s not heavy at all. In fact it is the perfect bass and should be double the price its that good!

Aww balls.

Ā

Sold a very similar one a while back and then regretted doing so.

Ā

My bank says ā€œnoā€ so I’m now going to be annoyed for a bit.

One of the few basses I regret selling. Brilliant hi-fi sound from these. Usual Yamaha quality.

Ā

I'm currently in selling mode, otherwise would be seriously tempted.Ā

Ā

Whoever buys this will be well happy!

These were excellent pro-level basses.

Ā

I remember this bass getting a very favourable review in Bass Player magazine when it was a current model, back in the very early 2000's.

Ā

Chris Minh Doky and Jeff Andrews played them at the time, too, I seem to recall.

Ā

Superb quality instrument for £400, anyway, that's for sure.

I think you need to pay a few euros customs duties and import vat. But the courier can tell you all of that and give you an all inclusive price.Ā

Yamaha made some fantastic bass models in that late 90s/early 00s period such as this one.
Ā

I own two BB604s from 2003 which aren’t too dissimilar looking to this, but with a 2+2 headstock and slightly different control layout etc. They are dynamite basses in any price bracket.Ā
Ā

I’d be interested in trying this one but alas my bass quota is full!Ā

I agree. TheĀ pulsar has got an incredible neck and the 1500a has got the trb electronics with piano. It’s so smooth and slinky to play.Ā
