Just got myself the Martin short scale acoustic bass for a Levellers inspired acoustic folk rock group in involved with - previously been playing Kala Uke basses. Your punk acoustic short scale would fit right in!! 😁👍🤘

Yeah here’s a mock-up of how it will look, I’m not sure of the colour combo yet I’m thinking blue with yellow stripes but that might change?

I decided to go a slightly different route on the short scale Punkcoustic bass the top will have a bit more of a natural look which will be sunburst into the black back and sides........👍🏻

Also I started making my back up 5 stringer but I can't decide if I want the body to be black or white?.........👍🏻

Black for me too.  I suppose I could get used to the white body but I don't think it works as well for two tone music.

 

Of course, A strong yellow body would be excellent.

Funny you say that I am considering Yellow as well!! It would match my custom strap I made the other week 🤔
