Lozz196 Posted December 24, 2021 Posted December 24, 2021 So I`m after a fairly neutral sounding preamp/DI pedal. Has to: Â Be able to be switched on/off and sound still come from the instrument (unlike my Ashdown OriginAl which is either on or no sound). Â Run on batteries. Â And ideally have high frequencies no lower than 5kHz. Â So what`s out there, Tech21 gear as much as I love it is too "flavoured" on the sound, MXR M80 & TC Spectradrive weren`t to my liking. Quote
E sharp Posted December 24, 2021 Posted December 24, 2021 Tech 21 Q strip isnât flavoured at all.  I had one for a bit (as I have many pedals), and only sold it as I didnât really need it. Itâs like a recording console string in pedal format really. Loads of YouTube clips with these Quote

Thanks for the tip, I got one today, first impressions are good, eq points seem to replicate what my Ashdown amps do quite well, plus on-board tuner makes for a good all in one pedal. 1 Quote
