Well chaps, there's a rather long back-story to all this, but finally Spidey was restored to his rightful place.

Actually, he wasn't my first Basschat avatar. For the first few years I used this photo taken at Brands Hatch in 2003.

Custom paint job after the original tank got wrecked in a rather unexciting get-off.

It was supposed to be 'Vintage Gold' but all the guys in UKBEG (the UK Buell Enthusiasts Group - my first online forum and the origins of Happy Jack as my user name) started calling it the Duracell bike.
