So the final part of my Corona Virus-no work for months and have equipment I need to sell is:

The one that pains me the most!

My own made fretless bass! I also have pictures of the build process too if the new owner is interested!

The parts cost me over £700 for everything including the wood!

Before we get offf to pictures the specs are as follows:

Flame Olive Ash hollowed out body,

4a Quilt with a bit of spalt Maple top,

Hard Rock Maple neck,

Bubinga board,

Bone nut,

Generic lightweight tuners,

Hipshot Kickass bridge,

Bartolini Jeff Berlin soapbar pickups,

Volume, Volume, Tone controls.

The burst isn't as light as the pictures show and is more gradual, it has to be seen!

The neck is a slight V shape on the supper side so your thumb follows this and makes it ultra smoothe and quick.

I put some Rotosound Tru-bass nylon strings on it as it gives that hollow bounce and with the fretless, sounds like a crossover instrument!

I'll let the pictures do the talking but they really don't show how amazing this bass is!

I may be willing to trade... depending on what it is!

Yikes - felt tipped logo and fanned tuners! 🙂

The fanned tuners are due to the curve on the headstock and I don’t have the skills or tools for inlays for the headstock logo.

glad you like it though

My solution to not having arty skills was to get someone else to do it!

That body is darned nice, though!

To be clear, are we talking just gluing a bolt on neck into the pocket? Was any work carried out to lengthen/ strengthen the neck joint?

It’s a slightly deeper pocket and was done under the supervision of the head of Crimson Guitars (who’s a very good friend and was round when I was doing it)
