I can't beleive Steve is selling such a fantastic collection. What struck me most was the condition of these basses, they have been extremely well looked after. Steve is a top bloke, and you would strugggle to find anyone as honest about his basses. When people talk about good B strings, that bass sets the standard, end of. I know it'll be in great shape too so it's a good opportunity to own an awesome instrument. Giving up my quest to rule the world with five strings at the moment and going back to four so it would be a shame for it not to get played as often as it should. If it sells I think there could be another GB in my future plans possibly. I thought I had sneaked the Sadowsky in until this afternoon. I could see by the way she was looking at it that she was onto me :-) Its a long story but I have told her it will be sold soon and could I borrow the trousers off her when I next go out!
