Been on a bit of a Lloyd Parks one lately, great singer and bass player 

and at sunsplash 82 on his P bass, started learning this today

Don talking about something that has also annoyed me for a while - the often repeated online misconception that Reggae Basslines don't play on the one, and that the 'one drop' is referring to Bass.  "you can play on the one, you can play off the one, it makes no difference when you're playing over a one drop, the one drop is the drum pattern"

Yes, I thought the same when I saw the title , Ive heard it so many times, glad he put that out there .

Im quite liking this guy , he hasn’t got many videos yet but I think his channel could be interesting,

Got to have a bit of John Holt now and again, from around 1972 Riding For A Fall, 

this video made me listen to the above, great footage and the voice is amazing

I bought that album when it came out and I’ve still got it along with many others , definitely one of the best along with Uprising

Really enjoyed listening to this last night by The Mighty Threes, I believe they were only around for a few years 78-79 ish and were a trio of Bernard Brown, Carlton Gregory, and Noel “Bunny” Brown from the Chosen Few, they had an album called Africa Shall Stretch Forth Her Hand which is on YouTube and well worth a listen, after a bit of digging it looks like the bass player they used was ,Clinton "Bubbles" Rowe, who I don’t know much about, nice heavy Bassline
