As in they have numerous neck profiles they were shaped to for a number of years which are on the G&L website looking at depth, radius, shape etc. Modern C, classic etc. For example the #12 neck is very much their PJ so between the 2. #8 is super skinny profile, #6 (I think, could be 7) was very wide like about 44mm but flat and hence was fat. I have lost touch, and they may have stopped that as much now, but there was certainly some variation for a time depending on what someone ordered, and they seemed to go with a #12 as a default for a period, as I say I may be out of touch. It may well say in the case candy. cheers
cloudburst Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 I think it says LN #9 on the little tag in the photo. Could that be the answer? CB
Cuzzie Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Never seen a reference for a #9 neck - I have seen 5 through 8 and 10 through 12 in relation to basses and 1-4 for guitar. What are the actual stats on the neck to make it easier?!

Owen Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 I am generally in a post-GAS phase in my life by now. Not much gets me going. But if this had an extra string I would not be able to stop myself.
Geddys nose Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Lovely, Not many basses turn my head but Asats do.
Owen Posted December 31, 2019 Posted December 31, 2019 Congrats to whoever got this. I am more than a bit jealous.
