But 28,000 mAh seems huge - it's 20x the capacity of my rechargeable 9V batteries

That seems completely implausible to me. I just quickly looked up lithium-polymer batteries on CPC and a 2200 mAh 11.1 volt one is 100x34x22 mm which I think is about four times the volume of a PP3.

Thanks gents.

My current 9V are 1,300 mAh

And I have found some on Amazon that look realistic at 1,500 mAh (ie 13,500 mWh) - I'll go with those.

Latest handy little purchase. A small USB-powered LED clock, that cost less than a fiver but will be really helpful for knowing when to finish the set. I reckon it should fit neatly on the guitarist's pedal board.

BC'ers have you come across a UK 3 pin version of the attached, that you've been happy with?

Harley Benton PowerPlant ISO-Adapter 12V3A – Thomann United Kingdom

I got a unit that I thought would work but no cigar and will be returning, so any recommendations gratefully received!

@stewblack I'm hoping you might be our resident expert on HB related kit?!

Harley Benton I know. PSU in general, not so much.

I really shouldn't be quite so chuffed with a £10 9V PSU. But this one has decent 2A capacity and, if you're ever gigging with single multi-fx pedal, this has a 2m cable! Bloody marvellous!
