Reggaebass Posted March 30, 2019 Share Posted March 30, 2019 I recently got myself an AshdownĀ Ā lb 30 amp , And Iām loving it, but today after about 2 hours it went slightly quieter and turned itself off ,Ā Ā I checked the fuse in the plug and that was fine so I left it about an hour , and have just tried it and itās turned on fine. Not sure how old they are, the previous guy hadnāt used it in 2 years, but since Iāve been using it regularly, it seems to be ok š. Itās different alrightĀ , cleaner , deeper, having a separate gain and volume makes it a lot more versatile. Iāve played it out doors with no problem. You just have that extra bit of headroom. But I do miss the LB-30. I use an old Carslbro 50w guitar valve head at home just because it sounds so good, plenty of low end for small gigs and the overdrive channel gives the best dirty bass sound Iāve ever heard.Ā BTW the CTM100 is 19kg which isnāt bad at all, well worth a punt.
