Even with many people I know who love rock when they ask about my guitars (which are on display) I have to explain which ones are the basses and which are the (lead) guitars and what they're used for in a band. That's why I started playing bass - I just couldn't be (yet another) non-playing Guitard. Does anybody actually know the ratio of Guitards to bassists?
